Wolftree Group, LLC ("we", "our", "us") operates the MagField mobile application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

MagField collects magnetic field sensor data from your device's built-in magnetometer. This data is processed locally on your device. MagField does not transmit any measurement data, fingerprints, sensor readings, or personal information to Wolftree Group, LLC or any third party. All data remains on your device.

If you enable GPS tagging when saving a fingerprint, your device's location coordinates are stored locally alongside the fingerprint data. Location data is never transmitted externally.

MagField retrieves publicly available solar weather data from NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center to display current geomagnetic conditions. No personal information is transmitted in these requests.

We do not collect personal information, account credentials, analytics data, or device identifiers. MagField contains no third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools.

Data Storage

All measurement data, fingerprints, and sense event logs are stored locally in your device's app sandbox. Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.

Future Features

Future versions of MagField may offer optional cloud-based features such as AI-powered identification and community fingerprint sharing. These features will require explicit opt-in consent and will be described in an updated privacy policy before launch.

Children's Privacy

MagField is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page.
